From Tuesday 14 March 2017 we will be going live with Patient Access. This is an online service that allows patients to book appointments online and order repeat prescriptions. There is also an app available for smart phones. To use the system please contact reception to register.
Appointments will be available for the Doctors and Healthcare Assistant (Rhonda) only. This is due to the complex nature and timings of nurses appointment. The system will only show available appointments, therefore if no day or doctor is showing there is no availability. The system will only allow you to have 2 booked appointments at any time. Please complete the reason for appointment section. This is especially important for the Healthcare Assistant.
Repeat Prescription Ordering
This system is limited to the ordering of Repeat Medications and will allow you to view those active on your record. Please note you may receive a medication on a regular basis however if it is not showing it is likely that it is an Acute Medication. There are a large number of medications prescribed that will only ever be issued as an acute medication and this is due to the nature of the drug. You can order these medications through the message box, however this is only an option if you are ordering a repeat medication at the same time.
Please note the old system of ordering medication online (via the website) will run alongside this for a 3 month period. This will however cease to exist after this time.
